MediaSort is an iOS application developed by MediaSort ("we," "our," "us"). You can contact us at mediasortapp@gmail.com.
MediaSort accesses your photo and video library solely to display and filter your media within the app. We do not:
All photo library processing happens entirely on your device using Apple's PhotoKit framework.
Email address (optional). If you sign up for our launch waitlist on this website, we collect your email address. We use this solely to notify you when MediaSort becomes available on the App Store and to send occasional product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
In-app purchases. If you subscribe to MediaSort Pro, payment is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment information.
Crash reports. If the app crashes, Apple may send us anonymized diagnostic data through Xcode Organizer. This data does not include any personal information or media content.

MediaSort requests access to your photo library to perform its core function: sorting and displaying your photos and videos by aspect ratio. This permission is required for the app to work. You can revoke this permission at any time in your iPhone's Settings app under Privacy & Security → Photos.
Revoking photo library access will prevent MediaSort from functioning but will not affect any data — because we never stored any of it.
MediaSort stores no user data on our servers because it collects none. If you unsubscribe from our email list, your email address is deleted from Buttondown within 30 days. App Store subscription management is handled by Apple.
MediaSort is rated 4+ on the App Store and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
MediaSort is built using Apple's SwiftUI and PhotoKit frameworks. It uses StoreKit 2 for in-app purchases. These are Apple-provided frameworks and are subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
We may update this privacy policy as the app evolves. Any significant changes will be communicated via the App Store update notes or our email list. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version.
